When I was in kindergarten, I met Ella Fitzgerald on a plane ride back from Melbourne.

I appeared with Ella in the newspaper the next day. My parents reminisce, that night, Ella sang at Festival Hall where she dedicated the song ‘They can’t take that away from me’ to her little friend Leah and from that moment on, I was hooked.

You’ll find my family and me crooning and living life like it’s a musical, most days.  My mantra in life is to have fun. And if you can’t feel the sunshine —be the sunshine.

I have managed to craft a career I love. Combining my healthcare experience in nursing with business and communications, has given me a job with purpose and meaning.

As a side passion, I help people who are downsizing and moving into aged care or retirement living. Oh, the stories you’ll hear and treasures you’ll find when you’re helping people, are priceless.
